"This old Boston brownstone is not known for quiet living...first the shapeshifter meets his nurse, then the werewolf falls for his sassy lawyer, but now the vampire is looking for love with a witch who'se afraid of the dark...and you thought your neighbors had issues!" - Goodreads The first thing I noticed in this book was the humor. I was constantly laughing out loud, and was asked numerously if I was all right. The attraction between Morgaine and Sly is very noticable right from the start, but its not until Sly really needs her help when thing start to heat up. I loved Sly. He was shy and sensitive and didn’t want to bother anybody for anything. He’s just a sweet guy. I also loved the atmosphere and setting of the book. It makes me wish that I could live in an apartment like that! This was the first book of Ashlyn Chase’s that I have read. After reading The Vampire Next Door, I will gladly pick up another of hers! This book is sexy, funny, and a great read! |

Instead of reviewing each picture book individually, I figured I would just put all of them into a single post from time to time. Here are the most recent ones I have read that I enjoyed and recommend to my fellow librarians and reviewers.
